Pennsylvania makes national news again. This time in Scranton, Pennsylvania. A young woman is pregnant voluntarily with the child of a convicted rapist. So, the question is, should she be allowed to keep her child knowing this child will probably also be raped by the child's father, or take the child away as soon as the child is born to protect the child from sexual assault.
My opinion on this is, I think the mother needs serious counseling. I also believe that the child should be protected. Ideally, if the mother leaves the father, that would be the best situation in my opinion. And then the mother would be able to raise her child in a hopefully safer environment.
What do you think?
